Make an option required
You can make an option required which means the customer must make a selection in order to add the product to cart.
To make an option required follow these steps:
Open the option you want to make required
On the right in the "Additional settings" section check-in the "Required option" checkbox
Save the changes
When a required option is hidden on the storefront by rules/conditional logic when the customer clicks the "Add to cart button" they will be able to add the product to the cart
