You can create price add-ons for each option value that will add an additional charge to the base product in the cart.



There are two ways to create a price add-on:

Specify an "Add-on price" next to the value
Link an add-on product to the value

Create price add-on by specifying an Add-on price

Follow these steps to set up price add-ons by specifying an Add-on price:

Open the option where you want to have price add-ons
Specify Add-on price: Next to the values where you want to have price add-ons add a price in the "Add-on price" field. The add-on price will be charged on top of the the base product price at checkout.



Save the changes

When you provide an add-on price we create an add-on product in your shop that will be added to the cart along the base product if the customer selects the value.

The title, image and description of the add-on product can be edited in Shopify under "Products" by editing the add-on product. On the "Products" page you can filter for all the products generated by the app by setting the "Product type" filter to "23p_po_generated".

Generated add-on products are automatically excluded from SEO, webshop search and existing collections. Learn how to hide them from the storefront: How to hide add-on products from SEO, Shopify search and recommendations?

The price, title and description of the add-on product can be edited in Shopify under "Products" by editing the add-on product.

Do NOT delete generated add-on products that are used by options because then the price won't be increased in the cart.

Create price add-on by linking an existing add-on product

Follow these steps to link an existing product as a price add-on

Open the option where you want to have price add-ons
Click the "Add-on product" button next to the values where you want a price add-on and select the add-on product from the list



Save the changes

When you link a product as an add-on, the product will be added to the cart along the base product when the customer selects the value.

The price, title and description of the add-on product can be edited in Shopify under "Products" by editing the add-on product.
